Responsibilities
Service Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries and keep them updated on their jobs.
- Open, maintain, and finalise work orders, ensuring smooth operations.
- Prepare service repair quotes and assist with warranty claims and follow-ups.
- Schedule customer jobs using your technical knowledge to support the Service Manager.
- Facilitate seamless communication within the Service Department.
Parts Responsibilities
- Promote and sell parts and services to meet customer needs.
- Keep the showroom optimised with up-to-date marketing materials and attractive displays.
- Research and interpret parts requirements
- Manage inventory, verify shipments, and assist with merchandise delivery.
Administration Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support across service, parts, and branch departments.
- Record and manage employee timesheets, invoices, and dealership files.
- Greet visitors, manage calls, and ensure efficient customer interactions.
- Prepare documents, coordinate events, process incoming and outgoing mail and handle office supplies.
The Ideal Candidate should have:
- Previous experience in an administrative and/or service advisor role or similar
- Strong people and communication skills
- Positive attitude towards customer service
- Ability to use applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Sales and Service Advisor software
- Understanding of office procedures, data entry and technical terms
- Capable in accounting and reconciliation
